Who We Are

At Rogers, we’re proud to continue the legacy that began more than 60 years ago. With our dedicated team, we’re committed to connecting Canadians and delivering the best from coast to coast.

Our Story

Ted Rogers believed in the power of communication to enlighten, embolden, and entertain. With a small loan, he followed in his father’s footsteps, purchasing a radio station which would launch a company to connect Canadians across the country.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging

We believe an inclusive culture lets us harness the power of diversity to make better business decisions for our customers and shareholders and is a fundamental part of making Rogers one of the best places to work in Canada. We engage passionate leaders from across the organization to serve on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Council.

Together, they work as a dedicated team to oversee the development and implementation of our DEI & B strategy and spread the excitement about fostering an inclusive culture at Rogers. The DEI & B Council drives best-in-class initiatives that support our Diversity Teams – Indigenous Peoples Network, Spectrum (2SLGBTQ+), RISE for Women, Rogers Mosaic (Visible Minorities), Rogers AccessAbility Network (Persons with Disabilities), to promote an inclusive workplace and meaningfully impact our employees, customers and communities.

Indigenous Peoples

Our Indigenous Peoples Network helps engage, inspire, and support Indigenous employees and allies, while sharing knowledge and experience to help us build strong partnerships, meaningful work, and respectful relationships.

The intention is to build an inclusive culture for Indigenous employees and allies by removing barriers that traditionally strain relations between Indigenous communities and non-Indigenous organizations.

Here’s what you can expect if you join on with the Rogers team:

  • A competitive salary and benefits which include access to our Employee Share Accumulation Program, Retirement Benefits, and a variety of other perks, including 50% off Rogers services and Blue Jays tickets.
  • A company that is committed to the collective journey towards truth and reconciliation in meaningful ways, in partnership with Indigenous Peoples. Rogers Sports & Media has multi-platform potential to support the reclamation of language, history, and culture in support of individuality and authenticity. We are committed to partnership with Indigenous communities and our Indigenous team members on the collective journey of truth and reconciliation. Our news content will provide coverage of and information on issues of concern to Indigenous People and all Canadians including the history and legacy of residential schools and the reconciliation process. Our sport platforms will continue to highlight achievements and stories of Indigenous athletes. Our business platforms will continue to give Indigenous business owners greater opportunity.
