CSIS At A Glance
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is at the forefront of Canada’s national security establishment, employing some of the country’s most dedicated and capable men and women.
The Service’s role is to investigate activities suspected of constituting threats to the security of Canada, and to report on these to the Government of Canada. Key threats include terrorism, the proliferation of weapons and mass destruction, espionage, foreign interference and cyber-tampering affecting critical infrastructure. CSIS programs are proactive and pre-emptive.

Do You Qualify?
To be considered for employment, you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen
- Be eligible to receive Top Secret security clearance
- Have 10 years verifiable information
- Have a valid permanent Canadian driver’s licence (certain positions)
- Agree to relocate anywhere in Canada and/or abroad, depending on the requirements of the Service, throughout your career (Intelligence Officer positions)
